Free Psychological Support and Counselling
In the recent five-alarm fire occurred at Wang Fuk Court, Tai Po has resulted in severe casualties and has triggered various emotional responses within the community. Whole Person Development Institute expresses its deep concern regarding the incident. We extend our deepest condolences to the deceased, our sincere sympathies to the families of the victims and to all affected residents and their families, and our heartfelt gratitude and respect to all the firefighters, medical personnel, frontline workers, and volunteers involved, we are thankful for their dedication and efforts.
This tragic event may have caused varying degrees of emotional distress for many people. Some may be experiencing symptoms of acute stress reactions, and for those with past trauma, it may have triggered unresolved negative emotions from previous experiences. At such a time, if you notice any negative emotional reactions within yourself, such as feelings of sadness, depression, or other negative emotions – it is important to seek timely emotional support to prevent these feelings from affecting your well-being. This is one of the ways to help yourself, your family, and those around you.
